The combination of attacks, especially the wind and thunder, was enough to finally finish off the heart shard. There was a moment of resistance as it fought to cling to the heart it'd leeched onto, but couldn't last under their combined efforts. It cracked, shattered and then disintegrated into nothing, leaving behind nothing but a faint scar on the darkness.
