I'm not sure if this'll work, but...I'll just speak out to anyone here that's listening. If you can hear me, please respond!

And if you can respond, please tell me who you are and what's the last thing you remember?

This is Kairi, and the last thing I remember was the seven of us were all fighting against Xehanort. We...weren't doing as well as we'd hoped, and the worlds were falling apart...then I remember a whole lot of darkness, and then I was here.

[She's relieved to see Ven here again, if only to have someone else around who's been here before and has some idea of what comes of it. His last memories are distressing, though.]

I remember he was there, too... [Then comes another thought; one she doesn't like.] You don't know if he's here too, is he?

No.

[The answer is short and to the point.]

[There's really not much she can pry in there, as frustrating as it is.]

Well...please try and remember more, if you can. We need to find out what happened if we're going to get out.

Yes, oh yes!

[So many ideas, bubbling through his mind! If only he had the idea bag to put them into... Not that his ideas are of any use to getting to the bottom of things. The warmth and safety makes him think things such as curling up with a good story in front of a fire, or exploring in the belly of a beast, or shared songs. So much from one little feeling, and he keeps finding new things the more he looks. It's an endless cycle. ]

Huu? [Oh. Yes. That thought slipped. He's getting the hang of traveling; it feels familiar to how he usually travels. But this thought-thing is very new.] Well, the Dreamfinder, of course. He knows lots of things! Much more than me! Only... [he sounds a little sad] I haven't seen him.

[ Maybe she can see him or at least pick up his reaction to the comment somehow through the whole super-empathy-thing going on, but he nods in a wordless reply to her first remark.

And somehow he gets that feeling that she's smiling. ]

Well it's true. I don't know who you've seen around here, but everyone I've come across so far just shouldn't be here if this was Sora's heart as I'm used to it.

I mean I am -erm, was his Nobody. But then there's other former Nobodies here and then people I'm pretty sure haven't even met him before. So it's kind of weird. Just makes me really want to know what happened to make all of this happen.

By the time the battle happened, Xehanort was almost entirely in control, Kairi... All I can remember from it is being trapped.

[And, honestly, he seems rather pained to admit that]

What sorts? [It definitely seems like he's got a lot of ideas there, although what to do with them is another matter.]

Oh, I see. Well...there's still a chance that he's here somewhere.

[And she figures she should ask.] Have you ever met Sora before?

[She does pick up on something like a nod, which is very strange since she's not actually seeing it...]

I've seen just a couple people...Riku, Ven, and Lea. I know they were there at that battle, so I guess it could make sense...but talking to some people now, I don't recognize them.

Who else have you seen here?

I know.

So, nothing at all? Not even what Xehanort was doing then?

[She can just imagine how painful it is. It's probably going to take some time to recover from it. The question is just how much time they have. And it may be hard, but they have to try.]

[Isa sighs]

He's always kept me in the dark about his plans, Kairi. He wanted to forge the x-Blade, right?

My best guess is that the flood of light purged him from me and anybody else he had possessed.

Yes, I know that's what that battle was for.

It'd make sense...but what would that flood of light be from?

[ Depending on how well-tuned into this empathy business Kairi is, she'll probably feel a few emotive reactions to those names. Riku immediately triggers a very sharp, hostile sensation from him. Depending on how much she knows about the sordid encounter between the two, it's obvious that someone still bears a grudge. Ven is a name met with curiosity and uncertainty. Then the name 'Lea' generates a calm, relaxed feel. ]

Xion's here. She was with me when all of this happened. I still don't know who she is, exactly...

But I've met Axel. A Zexio- erm, I mean Ienzo is here. And so is this little green guy, he looks like a tiny Donald with a nicer hat and his name is Perry.

This is still so weird. What happened when you guys found Xehanort anyway?

[ There's a lingering sentiment after that of the thought 'Why didn't you wait for me?' ]

Wak! "Nicer hat?" What'dya mean "nicer hat?"

[ That was unexpected. Yeah, anyone particularly paying attention to Roxas would be getting that very sharp spike of momentary shock in response to the sudden butting in of a duck that he'd only indirectly encountered.

Thankfully, it doesn't take more than couple minutes for him to calm down and throttle back that really annoyed sensation from all of this. ]

Yeah. A nicer hat. [ Okay, still strong annoyed sensation there. ] I mean, you wear this blue-pointy-thing. Perry's looks -well, classy.

[ Just thinking about that hat makes him contemplate looking into a hat for himself. ]

[Kairi picks up on it, just a little bit...mostly the hostility when Riku is mentioned, although she can't quite tell why, and how he feels about Lea. She feels a little disappointed that there's hostility, there...she doesn't want any animosity to exist between them.]

Oh...yes, I think I talked to her. I'm not completely sure, either.

That's kind of strange. Unless it's everyone that Sora's met, but I don't think he ever mentioned either of those people...

He knew we were all coming, which we kind of expected... I think he was a little surprised to see me, though. There was this huge battle, but he was more powerful than we even thought, so the world we were on and then all the others kept getting swallowed up by the darkness he used. Then I guess...it got to all of us, too.

[And in response, a small thought about there not being much time to spare.]

[Kairi's just going to ignore the rest, since she's just glad to hear that voice.]

Donald, you're okay!

Is Goofy with you, too?

[He's been here a little too much in his opinion. Don't get him wrong, if he had to spend over a decade in someone else's heart, Sora's the best choice, but still - he'd rather be on his own two feet.]

I haven't seen him yet - but I don't know if that means he isn't here or if he's just waiting. If he goes after anyone, though, it'll be me.

[Things were different. The world could sense that much. He was starting to get a better sense for things which was strange and now it seemed he could hear a voice. The voice of a girl named Kairi. Well, she wasn't an inhabitant of his world, but he was filled with people that helped others and that had rubbed off on him as well.

He wasn't sure he could even respond at this point, but he'd like to try. All these new experiences meant he could make friends, right? And that was one of the first things he had learned as a world was that friends were very important.

And so Kairi might catch an unfamiliar voice of a young boy.]

Haha. Gosh, this is a new one. Hello Kairi. I remember a darkness too, which is weird because usually I don't see a lot of darkness around me, at least, not in a long while.

[It was hard enough being stuck her for months...she can't even imagine having to do that for years, even if it is Sora.]

If he does, we'll make sure he doesn't go after anyone. He can't just attack anyone right now!

Maybe he's not here anyway...

[She catches on to another voice, but doesn't quite recognize who it is. Is this someone else that Sora met, or another stranger?]

Um, hello! Who are you, though, and where were you that you don't usually see a lot of darkness?

[Sort of.]

Oh, right, a name. This is all new to me. I mean, I don't usually have to give my name to people...at least not with my own voice and everything. I guess I'm Disney Town or sometimes Disney Castle.

[There's a pause as if he's distracted then he laughs.]

It's a little complicated actually. Just call me Disney for ease, okay? That way it won't be so confusing later. The King and Queen built the world around the Cornerstone of Light which did a good job of protecting me and my inhabitants from the darkness most of the time. So, I didn't see it that often, especially around the castle.

This time though it was like...I dunno just even that couldn't stop it in the end.

[Kairi has to stop and absorb that for a moment. It's a lot of info, but there's one thing sticking out to her.]

Wait...you're the heart of a world? [Yes, she's completely shocked.]

I mean, I knew the worlds were getting swept up in the darkness, but...they can be here too?

Well...I'm here. And you all are here. So, yeah, I guess the other worlds are here too.

Never been able to communicate like this before...so I guess that has something to do with being swept up into the darkness or something.

[This kind of adds a new dimension of things to Kairi, and while a part of her is really interested about getting able to talk to a world, a larger part is worried about that this means.]

I guess...if we're all hearts here, that means any heart could communicate. But...wow.

If other worlds are in here, does that mean that...is there anything outside of him now?

[It's a scary thought and Disney easily picks up on her fear and worry. If it's one thing he doesn't like it is someone who is sad or scared.]

It would be hard to say, wouldn't it?

But don't give into fear Kairi. We're all here together and we can work this out if we all have a little faith.
