Riku took her help, still staring at that cat. A hint of a smirk crossed his face when it gagged, but it was short-lived. Served it right. At least the fish was a fighter.

There was no doubt by now he and Kairi had been noticed by the father and likely little Toshi. As such, he stood nearby, ready to offer any support he could.
