[ Roxas can't help but to grumble a little. He'd been fine with people he knew couldn't talk doing this talking directly into his head trick, he was less fine with people he knew could speak just fine doing this. It reminded him far too much of his time in the simulated Twilight Town... DiZ really knew how to mangle whatever he had for a heart.

It takes a moment, but a jog of his memories remind him of the voice's owner. And while he's still not thrilled with the whole of all of it, he at opts that Kairi didn't know what tends to get on his nerves.

Remembering how he spoke to the small platypus, he tries thinking really 'loudly' to pass along his thoughts]

I can't remember if I made it over to that fight... I think I was still on the way with my friends when the darkness came.

I don't think I was there because when I woke up here, my first thought was complaining that Sora didn't wait for us.

Okay...it feels like a lot of us are around that same point.

[If she didn't know before that this sort of thing got on his nerves, she has an idea of it now, and feels pretty bad about it.]

Um, I'm really sorry if this surprised you...I was just trying to reach everyone.

[ Mentally he chides himself. He thought he'd been getting better about trying to just let his 'loud' thoughts do the talking. But either Kairi was better at listening than he was at being quiet or maybe he just wasn't as good at it as he'd hoped. ]

It's okay. It's not a bad idea, really.

Just some bad memories, you know?

[She's not sure if she's trying too hard to read what he's thinking, or if she's just getting too used to communicating this way.]

No, I...I understand. We can try and talk in person next time.

I don't suppose you've found out anything else?

[ Who knows at this point. Though he's been getting more and more used to it; just it'll be awhile before the association with this sort of thing and his time back then separate. ]

If we can find each other anyway... it's alright. I'm sorry I got bent out of shape over it.

As far as anything else, not much. Just that if we are in Sora's heart somehow, then it's become a lot more crowded in here since my last stay.

I think as long as we can think about and remember each other, we can find each other. [Although there's still some people she wants to find, and she hasn't come across them yet.]

[She can't help but smile a little bit at that.] Never thought I'd be agreeing with someone on something like that.

[ Maybe she can see him or at least pick up his reaction to the comment somehow through the whole super-empathy-thing going on, but he nods in a wordless reply to her first remark.

And somehow he gets that feeling that she's smiling. ]

Well it's true. I don't know who you've seen around here, but everyone I've come across so far just shouldn't be here if this was Sora's heart as I'm used to it.

I mean I am -erm, was his Nobody. But then there's other former Nobodies here and then people I'm pretty sure haven't even met him before. So it's kind of weird. Just makes me really want to know what happened to make all of this happen.

[She does pick up on something like a nod, which is very strange since she's not actually seeing it...]

I've seen just a couple people...Riku, Ven, and Lea. I know they were there at that battle, so I guess it could make sense...but talking to some people now, I don't recognize them.

Who else have you seen here?

[ Depending on how well-tuned into this empathy business Kairi is, she'll probably feel a few emotive reactions to those names. Riku immediately triggers a very sharp, hostile sensation from him. Depending on how much she knows about the sordid encounter between the two, it's obvious that someone still bears a grudge. Ven is a name met with curiosity and uncertainty. Then the name 'Lea' generates a calm, relaxed feel. ]

Xion's here. She was with me when all of this happened. I still don't know who she is, exactly...

But I've met Axel. A Zexio- erm, I mean Ienzo is here. And so is this little green guy, he looks like a tiny Donald with a nicer hat and his name is Perry.

This is still so weird. What happened when you guys found Xehanort anyway?

[ There's a lingering sentiment after that of the thought 'Why didn't you wait for me?' ]

Wak! "Nicer hat?" What'dya mean "nicer hat?"

[ That was unexpected. Yeah, anyone particularly paying attention to Roxas would be getting that very sharp spike of momentary shock in response to the sudden butting in of a duck that he'd only indirectly encountered.

Thankfully, it doesn't take more than couple minutes for him to calm down and throttle back that really annoyed sensation from all of this. ]

Yeah. A nicer hat. [ Okay, still strong annoyed sensation there. ] I mean, you wear this blue-pointy-thing. Perry's looks -well, classy.

[ Just thinking about that hat makes him contemplate looking into a hat for himself. ]

[Kairi's just going to ignore the rest, since she's just glad to hear that voice.]

Donald, you're okay!

Is Goofy with you, too?

[Kairi picks up on it, just a little bit...mostly the hostility when Riku is mentioned, although she can't quite tell why, and how he feels about Lea. She feels a little disappointed that there's hostility, there...she doesn't want any animosity to exist between them.]

Oh...yes, I think I talked to her. I'm not completely sure, either.

That's kind of strange. Unless it's everyone that Sora's met, but I don't think he ever mentioned either of those people...

He knew we were all coming, which we kind of expected... I think he was a little surprised to see me, though. There was this huge battle, but he was more powerful than we even thought, so the world we were on and then all the others kept getting swallowed up by the darkness he used. Then I guess...it got to all of us, too.

[And in response, a small thought about there not being much time to spare.]

[ Well, from Roxas' standpoint, the hostility is entirely justified and some part of him can't quite understand why someone like Kairi would have such a pragmatic jerk for a friend. Of course, this may just be a matter that perhaps would be best remedied with good ol' fashioned talking later.

Either way, he's quiet as he listens to her words. Her side of the story was intriguing. Even he wouldn't have expected Kairi to take to the front lines. It kind of raised the question of if she even had a Keyblade to use in a fight.

'Maybe she's good with magic? Girls tend to be.'

Dismissing the train of questions without answers for now, he just nods... or inadvertently sends that sentiment of nodding in reply to the whole mess of everything. It still didn't explain how they got here and if everyone being here was another one of his former Superior's schemes.

'I think Xemnas and DiZ are the only people I can say I hate. Maybe they should give themselves a cookie or something for that.' ]

So that's what happened, huh? It's still just so weird that so many other people got pulled into this.

[She still catches a little of that, but definitely wants to talk about it later. Riku has a lot of his faults, but she wouldn't be friends with him if he truly wasn't worth it.]

[The part about being able to use a Keyblade gets back just a tad bit of ire. Hey, she could use one, and she'd been training hard! As much as she could before getting thrown up against Xehanort, anyway. She was fine with magic, but she preferred just hitting things with it, thank you!]

[And she really hoped that this wasn't another trick of Xehanort's. Because if it was, that meant Sora was still facing off against him.]

Yeah, it is really weird. I mean, I knew it was bad, but...if there's people here Sora's never even met, it seems like it went way beyond even what we were doing.

We just have to find out what happened between what we remember last and now.

[ The torrent of counter-sentiments and replies were strange. Well, most of them were. That defensive feeling when he got when he thought what a jerk Riku was made sense though. He did know enough about Sora, Riku and Kairi to know that were friends. Like him, Axel and... he caught himself wandering in thought a little.

When he was in the Organization, his only friend was Axel. So then why did it feel like he'd been part of a trio as well? It was strange and a thought that he was quick to dismiss from now. He was confused enough as it was without that.

Now the concept of Kairi with a Keyblade was a little weird. And while he was at the point of not questioning people that had such exotic weaponry, it did leave him wondering just how people got them then. The only reason he suspected he had his own was being Sora's Nobody... but then, that left him wondering why he'd still have it during that brief time that both he and Sora existed in the normal world.

Between all of this and Kairi's remarks, Roxas found himself now with more questions and not a single answer. This was getting frustrating. ]

I hope you have better luck with that than I did. I'm still trying to put some stuff back together from when DiZ messed with my memory. And that's on top of all these weird feelings I've been having.

Has anyone checked Sora's station?

[Strange didn't begin to cover it. Especially since Roxas seemed to have gone off on a tangent about something else he was trying to remember...being part of a trio. Did that have something to do with Xion? She mentioned Roxas...]

[Although Kairi had to admit, she wasn't entirely sure how she'd gotten hers, either. She just found she had the ability to use it when she needed to.]

We'll try and find out together. I was thinking...maybe we could try to link up to Sora's last memory. It may be able to answer some questions.

What other weird feelings? [She feels like anything may be important here.]

Yes. Riku and Lea and I found it. He's not there, though.

[ All other matters aside, the feedback regarding Sora's station was curious to say the least. Either Sora had wandered off, at which point someone should have run into him or for whatever reason, he wasn't here. Which was worrisome for a lot of reasons, many of which were not all that good. ]

How would you link up to his last memory?

[ He supposed it made sense in a way. If a person's thoughts were basically being broadcast around and he'd done the same with memories, then it was just a matter of... well, maybe it wasn't so clear-cut. In Roxas' experience, it still required a person to offer the memory for it to be shared. And if Sora wasn't around, then that wouldn't be do-able... would it? ]

I guess it's as good an idea as anything else I've heard. It's just the 'how' part thatI don't get.

[It was possible Sora had wandered off, but she definitely figured one of them would have run into him already, with how much they were thinking about him. She doesn't want to think the reasons for him not being there are bad, but can't help it at least a little...]

I'm not entire sure on the 'how' part, either...but a lot of us at least share some memories with Sora because we were fighting with him, right? So, maybe since this is his heart, we can jump from a memory we share with him to one that we don't, if they go from one to another anyway.

It's something we can try, at least. [She definitely hoped it wouldn't require Sora's presence with them to find his own memories.]

[ The whole of that got him to thinking. Going by what Kairi was thinking, it sounded like it might be possible for people to sort of check their memories against each other this way. Actually, since she put it that way, it made him wonder if Namine might be around somewhere. If they were dealing in the business of memories and trying to figure out stuff connected to those, certainly she'd have some way to help with that.

Another person on his checklist of people to find. ]

[ And for all his annoyance at how everything turned out, there's one last thing he decides he should get off his chest. ]

And for what it's worth... sorry I didn't make it in time to be there with everyone else.

[That's got her wondering if Namine is around here, too. If anyone knows how best to deal with Sora's memories, she would.]

It's all right. In a way, I'm kind of glad you didn't have to deal with that. [Seeing all your friends and then the world itself get overtaken by darkness isn't fun, and she doesn't want anyone to have to live or relive that.]
