I'm not sure if this'll work, but...I'll just speak out to anyone here that's listening. If you can hear me, please respond!

And if you can respond, please tell me who you are and what's the last thing you remember?

This is Kairi, and the last thing I remember was the seven of us were all fighting against Xehanort. We...weren't doing as well as we'd hoped, and the worlds were falling apart...then I remember a whole lot of darkness, and then I was here.

Different from what everyone else has said...

Do you know if you were, um...separated from Xehanort before that? [This feels so terribly awkward to talk about.]

Or was it light because you were being freed from Xehanort's darkness?

[Riku's tone is a little cautious, but not rude. Apparently he's been listening in and now he's there to back her up.]

Sorry, just...maybe this is another clue. Everyone else has said they felt darkness first, but you were one of...them, and you said you saw a lot of light last.

[Isa's mental tone sent Riku's guard up, as well as his irritation, but Riku knew that was probably coming across. Taking a deep, empty breath and a sigh, he exhaled his emotions. He'd never been one to let them get the best of him, and his feelings simmered. His statement wasn't much more than an addendum to what Kairi said.]

It was just speculation, since as Kairi said, you were already deep in darkness.

I don't remember much of what happened before the light, so I...

[She's not sure what else she's going to get out of Isa, or if she wants to pursue this much further. It's still quite a bit unsettling. But there's still another important question.]

I'm sorry to ask but...do you know if...any of the others are here, too?

Wha-- [The thought had come instantly and Riku quickly tried to derail it. If Isa didn't remember, he didn't remember. As such, he simply listened.]

Well...please try and remember more, if you can. We need to find out what happened if we're going to get out.

By the time the battle happened, Xehanort was almost entirely in control, Kairi... All I can remember from it is being trapped.

[And, honestly, he seems rather pained to admit that]

So, nothing at all? Not even what Xehanort was doing then?

[She can just imagine how painful it is. It's probably going to take some time to recover from it. The question is just how much time they have. And it may be hard, but they have to try.]

He's always kept me in the dark about his plans, Kairi. He wanted to forge the x-Blade, right?

My best guess is that the flood of light purged him from me and anybody else he had possessed.

It'd make sense...but what would that flood of light be from?

Maybe Sora himself? [The thought is quiet and it feels like Riku is thinking in part to himself.]

I feel like we would have remembered something like that, before it all went dark...

But...it would at least be him.

[She can't help wondering...if that was Sora, and it was enough to stop Xehanort's selves, then what would he be doing now?]
